Selected candidate will: 1.Possess a Doctor of Philosophy (or All But Dissertation) in Sociology or Criminal Justice, with 18 graduate credits in Criminal Justice. 2.Sociological theories and methodology 3.Concentration in Race and Equity studies. 4.Demonstrated ability to communicate to a diverse student-body audience, both verbally and in writing, with emphasis applied to a commitment to diversity. 5.Demonstrated ability to grasp and advocate an institution teaching and learning philosophy, preferably in an institution of higher education. 6.Commitment to attaining distance learning certification at NSU
