We are seeking dedicated Family Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our urgent care centers. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to treat both adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months and up), managing a high volume of cases efficiently while maintaining a positive and welcoming attitude. You will operate as the sole provider during shifts, performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations, all within a state-of-the-art EMR system (Epic). Your soft skills—empathy, communication, and teamwork—will be crucial in building rapport with patients and support staff alike. Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months of clinical experience treating adults and pediatrics Proficiency with Epic EMR system Current board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP Boards, NCCPA, or equivalent) Active NC DEA license BLS certification Ability to see and treat all patients independently Strong interpersonal and soft skills suitable for a patient-centered environment Ability to work within a 60-mile radius of your residence Nice to Have Skills: Experience performing minor procedures (I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation) Previous urgent care or emergency room experience Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or pediatric advanced life support Preferred Education and Experience: Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care settings Prior experience using Epic EMR system Other Requirements: Willingness to participate in scheduled onboarding, EMR training, and clinical screenings Ability to work flexible hours within scheduled shifts on set Wednesdays Support within a 60-mile radius of your home residence for multiple locations No travel reimbursement; mileage only This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $1.00 per hour, comprehensive medical benefits, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable, and access to a robust referral bonus program.
