every job we do. The Role: The Regional Operations Manager plays a
pivotal role in the daily operations and long-term growth of the
area service teams. This leader will oversee multiple offices and
teams, leading the way in exemplifying our Moore's purpose and
desired culture. This leader will promote excellence in caring for
our employee partners, their safety, operational efficiency, team
development, and customer service. This executive will lead and
mentor Area Service Managers (ASMs) and Project Managers,
collaborate with other Service leaders, and help drive both the
financial and cultural success of the region. Responsible Office
Locations: Warrenton, Richmond, Charlottesville, Portsmouth What
You'll Do: Embody the principles of servant leadership by putting
the needs of the team first, enabling their personal and
professional growth, and promoting a culture of genuine care,
support and empowerment. Know, comprehend, support, and promote our
Moore's purpose, vision, mission, and values with every team member
in your region. Lead and develop managers, enhancing their
leadership and business acumen. Support managers in leading area
service technician meetings and regional initiatives. Resolve
customer or operational issues that escalate beyond the ASM and PM
level. Conduct annual performance reviews and continuous coaching
for team members. Promote and enforce company safety standards;
participate in all regional accident investigations. Build strong
relationships with technicians through regular site visits and
engagement. Review weekly work order profitability reports and
address financial concerns. Conduct monthly financial and
performance reviews with ASMs to identify growth opportunities and
drive improvement of processes. Partner with Human Resources, ASMs,
and PMs in interviewing, hiring, and onboarding Service
Technicians. Identify and put in place training that meets
development needs for the area. Collaborate with the Area
Salespeople and the Sales Manager to support market growth and
customer expansion. Maintain overall organization, communication,
accountability, and operational excellence within the region. You
Bring: Education An undergraduate degree in engineering, business,
or a related discipline is preferred. Relatable Trade experience
and/or licensing credentials would be a plus. Professional
Qualifications A minimum professional experience base of 10-15
years is required, with proven experience in leading a service
within a HVAC/R, electrical, or plumbing services (or a relatable
service field), with regional, division or similar multi-branch
location responsibility, where scaled growth and expansion was
achieved. Experience managing @$20 plus million revenue, with
multiple branch locations, of a business, division, region or
subsidiary would be highly preferred. Proven experience managing
multiple leaders or frontline supervisors. Demonstrated success in
leadership, operations, and customer service management. Strong
interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Analytical thinker with effective problem-solving and
decision-making abilities. Strong organizational skills with the
ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively. Collaborative
mindset, willing to support regional operations after hours as
needed. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business
software tools. Industry and personal credentials. Trade licensing
is a plus. Demonstrated track record of establishing best practices
and systems to support growth, while maintaining a commitment to
integrity, safety, customer service and quality at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and have a dedication to
"details" is required. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning
skills, plus excellent organization skills. A proven track record
of performance, where timelines are achieved, and deadlines are
consistently met. Detail oriented and driven to succeed. Track
record of a metric-based management style is required. Excellent
written and oral communication skills. Track record of
