This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.Principal and Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot and repair mechanical failuresRebuild equipment including but not limited to gearboxes, pumps, pneumatics and hydraulic systemsWelding and fabrication experience not required, but preferredReads, interprets, understands manufacturer equipment manuals preventive (PM) task sheets and safety policiesPerforms all equipment repairs and daily work within OSHA regulations, lockout-tagout and company safety policiesMonitors performance of equipment and informs maintenance and production supervisors of potential problems.Maintains log books by applying math skills through the equipment PM stages in order to calibrate machinery to performance standardsComplete preventive maintenance tasks as assignedMinimum EducationHigh School or equivalentAdvanced technical or equipment maintenance training (preferred but not required)Experience Requirements2 - 4 years of related industrial work experience. Reading, writing and analytical skills are required.
