Job Description:
Gryphon/ManTech is looking for a
CVN Maintenance Coordinator And Future Readiness Specialist
The specific requirements of this position are: - Two years
experience with Regional Maintenance Automated Information System
(RMAIS) in work package screening and ship's availability planning.
Fluent in the use of RMAIS, ability to review and validate, sort,
screen and provide feedback to the respective ship and work centers
on jobs submitted to ensure information contained is correct and
all inclusive in order to broker work items to repair activities. -
Fifteen years experience of direct involvement with Naval Nuclear
Propulsion onboard aircraft carriers. Strong knowledge in hull,
mechanical and electrical equipment and systems for aircraft
carriers. - Able to discuss and brief senior naval officers and
civilians (both within and outside of CNAL's chain of command) with
regard to system and equipment status and provide recommended
course of action to repair. - Able to communicate with sound
independent judgment with various repair activities on required
repairs and have the knowledge to understand and communicate those
repairs. Have recent experience working directly with NSSA, NSSA
MSMO, ESU, CEMAT, NRMD, NNSY W-130. - Ability to analyze and
evaluate the CSMP, making recommendations for the brokering of
maintenance actions to the Maintenance Program Manager. - Strong
knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint; able to develop and maintain
spreadsheets, analyze data received and provide recommendations
both short term and long term in order to ensure material readiness
of the aircraft carrier. - Access to and strong knowledge in Navy
Data Environment (NDE) for Ship Change Documents (SCD). - Access to
and strong knowledge in MFOM for CASREP status and updates. -
Strong knowledge of system and equipment deficiencies; ensure
Departure From Specification (DFS) are issued when warranted and
schedule same for future corrective action. - Strong knowledge in
Advanced Industrial Management (AIM) for availability tracking. -
Strong knowledge in Steam Plant Action Request (SPAR), Steam Plant
Liaison Inquiry (SPLI) and Liaison Action Request (LAR) for
critical information updates. - Fifteen years of experience
interfacing with shipyard Project Team members, i.e. Project
Superintendent (PS) , Assistant Project Superintendent (APS),
Project Engineering Planning Manager (PEPM), Business Strategic
Planning Officer (BSPO), work Integration Manager (WIM). - Two
years experience in evaluating maintenance provider estimates
during project planning phase prior to start of availabilities.
Minimum of fourteen years related experience is required. A
Bachelor's degree in a related field is required. One must have
excellent written communication, interpersonal, problem-solving,
analytical, interpersonal, mathematical, and organizational skills.
Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to
work well alone and as part of a team. Proven leadership skills are
a plus. A Security Clearance is required. U.S. Citizenship
required.
