JPI is hiring for a consultant with at least 5-7 years of
experience directly managing or participating in large scale
projects ranging from Software development and infrastructure to
business process improvement initiatives. This role supports the
United States Coast Guard's Command, Control, Communication
Computers, Cyber and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC) in the
Project management Branch (PMB). Successful candidates must be
proactive, diligent, hardworking and able to achieve deadlines in a
fast-paced client environment with competing priorities and
demands. The candidate must possess excellent oral communication
skills, be a collaborator and an adaptive person.

---Develop project management artifacts based on strict policies
established by the Project Management Branch (PMB).
Support business process reengineering/process improvement
Read and interpret government policy, regulations, and directives
and to apply those to activities and work products.
Develop and present technical briefs to nontechnical audiences in
an easily understandable and digestible manner.
Coordinate multiple assignments and develop work products with
completeness, quality, and adherence to customer requirements.
Lead and facilitate client meetings.
Provide proactive risk mitigation strategies and understand when to
elevate issues to project leadership.
Build professional client relationships through exceptional client
service and deliverables.
Ability to shape business development opportunities and to guide
potential clients towards corporate objectives.
Experience with Project Management Tools such as Project Online,
Microsoft Project and JIRA desired
Experience with Microsoft Teams and Outlook strongly desired.
BA or BS Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Advanced understanding of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and
Experience with SharePoint.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
Ability to make critical decisions with limited guidance while
ensuring visibility into those decisions.
