Apply today and Check out our website for more information. CTR Group is seeking experienced Marine Designers - Piping, in the Portsmouth, Virginia area for a long-term government project! JOB DUTIES:

Use CAD system to develop initial 3D solid model of mechanical components and assemblies
Provides CAD models in appropriate form for use by Analysis personnel at various stages of the design development
Work closely with Engineering and Program Management personnel to refine design, solve problems, explore alternate approaches, etc.
Interact with Fabrication personnel to ensure manufacturability of design and with Programming personnel to ensure content of solid model for programming activities
Identify/select standard components for use in the design
