Services (DMAS) is excited to offer a competitive opportunity to
serve as the Program Support Technician Senior in the Fiscal
Division. Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited
to: This position supports the Recovery Analyst in their efforts to
recover funds from Third Party Liability resources paid by the
Department of Medical Assistance Services programs. This position
verifies TPL resources submitted by the TPL contractor, MCOs, and
other sources in the MES environment. The business needs for this
position have in office requirements to include but are not limited
to processing incoming mail. The position you are applying for is
an Hourly/Wage position. Hourly (wage) employees may not work more
than an average of 29 hours a week and cannot exceed 1500 hours
during their employment year. This position does not include health
insurance, retirement or leave. Located in beautiful Central

Competitive candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
Knowledge of health coverage entities and related partners
including insurance companies and outside agencies such as the
Department of Social Services (DSS). Experience performing work
requiring analysis of data and application of applicable
professional principles and standards. Knowledge of medical
terminology and claims information. Experience with queries from
complex automated computer systems including Virginia Medicaid’s
Fiscal Agent Services (FAS) system. Experience with utilizing
software programs such as Microsoft Office Suites. Knowledge and/or
experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying federal, state
laws/regulations related to Virginia Medicaid. Experience in
meeting deadlines. Experience with internal and external
stakeholders. Additional Considerations Competitive candidates
