Electrical Engineering Department in Portsmouth , RI , is seeking
an Engineer capable of leading a project team of electrical
engineers in analog, digital, mixed signal, configurable logic or
power design. The desired candidate would possess project team
leadership skills including cost and schedule management, plus
proposal writing and presentation experience. What You Will Do \n
Lead projects for both development and production. \n Earned Value
management. \n Work with operations and supply chain. \n Some
travel to integration sites, customer and subcontractor facilities
in support of the IPT and Program activities, may be required. \n
Drive adherence to program plans and schedules, accurately measure
and report on progress, identify potential problems in sufficient
time for corrective action to be taken, and ensure the delivery of
contractual commitments. \n Close management of design completion
while simultaneously balancing resulting performance with the
ability to meet the customer's critical schedule requirements. \n
Regular review of program status including tracking and review by
both Engineering and Program Leadership. \n This 1st shift role
will be 100% on-site and based in Portsmouth, RI. \n \n
Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor's in
Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a
minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience to include any
combination of the following: \n Experience leading cross
functional teams including but not limited to members from
Engineering, Operations, Global Supply Chain, and Quality through
hardware development, production, and/or test including system
test. \n Experience transitioning products to production. \n
Experience leading projects and participating in design and
development activities. \n Experience working and leading both
technical and cost proposals. \n Experience with earned value
management and other program management skills (IMP, IMS, R&O,
etc.). \n Experience implementing Risk and Opportunity Management.
\n \n \n Qualifications We Prefer \n Experience working Naval
Programs in the subject areas of acoustics, torpedoes, mine
warfare, submarines, and/or Unmanned Undersea Vehicles (UUVs). \n
Willingness and ability to support intermittent international
travel. \n Degree in Electrical Engineering. Advanced degree in
Engineering discipline preferred. \n Experience presenting
challenging program and technical issues to senior leadership
internally and externally. \n Experience leading a design release
into production. \n Experience managing complex tasks across
competing priorities. \n 6 years of relevant professional
experience managing and/or leading cross-functional teams. \n
Experience leading and growing / developing teams. \n Experience
working with customers to develop / negotiate SOW requirements and
scope. \n Proven ability to interface with customers and lead
programmatic and technical discussions to closure. \n Experience
leading and participating in production and test activities. \n EV
Certified or able to achieve EV certification within first year. \n
PMX Level 6 Certified and able to achieve PMX Level 5 Certification
within two years. \n IPDS knowledge and experience. \n Raytheon
Technologies process improvement (i.e. CORE / Six Sigma
Certification) or equivalent. \n Interpersonal and communication
skills; both verbal and written. \n Collaborate in teams or
independently, flexible, demonstrates initiative. \n Experience in
agile hardware development and managing using SCRUM. \n Extensive
knowledge of hardware engineering capabilities to ensure successful
technical execution. \n Active DoD Top Secret Clearance \n \n What

for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range
provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience
levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer,
