The US Navy command Surface Maintenance Engineering, Planning, Program (SURFMEPP) maintains, monitors, and refines Class-wide and Individual-Ship Maintenance Plans for all non-nuclear surface ships to ensure material readiness for the projected service life, develop life-cycle strategies to address system upgrades, and fully implement the Class Maintenance Plan into each surface ship's maintenance schedule and availability planning process.As aUS Navy Technical End Availability Analyst (EAA), you will:+ Provide critical support in protecting our country.+ Work with a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled professionals supporting SURFMEPP Continue growing and perfecting your skills as a US Navy Maintenance Planning and Execution expert.+ Receive robust benefits package that includes Employee Stock Ownership Plan!+ Be a part of an empowered accountability culture where each employee-owner has a meaningful stake in the future success and growth of the company.A week in the life of aUS Navy Technical End Availability Analyst (EAA):+ The US Navy Technical End Availability Analyst (EAA) acts as a Technical Analyst and performs overall analysis of each Surface vessel CNO maintenance availability. The EAA provides technical expertise in the area of modernization budget, schedule maintenance and technical requirements for surface navy ships to the SURFMEPP chain of command. They are responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, tracking / monitoring and documenting the ship maintenance and modernization requirements.+ Management of Life Cycle Health Assessment (LCHA) Program.+ Develop and maintain detailed ships analysis of its CNO maintenance and modernization availability by Class and Hull required to perform each CNO Availability.+ Work closely with the Ship Sheets Analysts, Detachment Engineers and SURFMEPP community that are executing the scope of work to meet the availability requirements within budget and timeline constraints.+ Assess effectiveness of directive maintenance strategies from a cost and schedule perspective.+ Ship Class Subject Matter Expert providing technical review and change management oversight of maintenance requirements in order to support ships reaching their expected service life. The Platform Engineer is responsible for the collection, reconciliation, compilation, manipulation and display of current and historical data from multiple Surface Warfare enterprise databases to perform analysis and deliver recommendations for class and specific requirements strategies in accordance with maintenance policies and processes.+ Review proposed Baseline Availability Work Packages for technical accuracy, configuration accuracy, Technical Foundation Papers and Long-Range Maintenance Schedules for compliance, Class Maintenance Plan adherence, Fleet Response Plan scheduling requirements.+ Retrieve, catalog and post ship maintenance data to databases as directed in support of standard or special ship class products. Review, analyze and report material concerns from a variety of authoritative sources.+ Review ship Class Ship Maintenance Plan (CSMP) and other reports to identify life cycle critical items for special designation/ branding and inclusion into the BAWP or Availability Work Package (AWP).+ Analyze current and historical data to identify class trends for use during advanced planning and execution planning.+ Conduct detailed analysis of ongoing ship availabilities to identify areas of concern as related to deferred work, inadequate execution or future programming requirements.+ Coordinate with Regional Maintenance Center (RMC) Maintenance Teams, CNRMC, Fleet Staffs, Type Commander.+ Create CMP task class fielding plans in support of new or existing CMP technical requirements. Assist with and coordinate CMP Processing activities, including the development, maintenance and monitoring of Baseline Availability.+ Prepare and submit availability and planning technical letters IAW established processes as directed.+ Review class specific Organizational, Intermediate and Depot level requirements to determine the necessity of inclusion into the CMP, PMS or other maintenance architecture.Founded in 1975, AMERICAN SYSTEMS is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States.
