We offer paid certification/recertification for those who meet certain prerequisites and then successfully complete an approved lifeguard training course. Can be a steppingstone to full-time opportunity in property management if you are looking for a year-round position. What would my schedule look like? We offer flexible schedule within our hours of operation: Tuesday –Sunday, 9:30am-8:30pm What are the requirements for this position? CPR/Lifeguarding certification is required to begin working; Palms will pay for certification and pay you while you are in training! Must be at least 16 years old by, or before, Memorial Day weekend. Must be able to work well with a team as well as unsupervised. Must be able to work full season through Labor Day (this is preferred, but not required) Must be able to maintain constant surveillance of residents using the pool and act immediately and appropriately to ensure safety in an emergency situation. Must be able to help keep the pool & pool area in a maximum state of cleanliness and functionality. Must be able to put safety first and be willing to enforce pool rules. Must be able to follow directions and communicate regularly with Supervisor and team concerning the status of the pool and issues that may arise.
