Row 34 is an award winning high-energy neighborhood oyster bar with locations in Boston, Cambridge and Burlington, MA as well as Portsmouth, NH.

Row 34 is searching for a Chef de Cuisine to join the team of hard working professionals in the heart of downtown Portsmouth, NH.

This management position will invest heavily in Row 34's service, hourly and management teams and the overall operations of the restaurant. This role requires the GM and CDC to be in lock step with one another, a united front for preparation and execution of service. The CDC is supported by active ownership, operations management and event sales, all working towards shared goals.

Requirements:

• Must be professional, confident and kind
• Must have appropriate cooking experience and knowledge
• Must be an excellent communicator
• Work closely with front of house team to meet guest expectations
• Experience managing back of the house in fast-paced restaurants appreciated
• Should be excited about learning, teaching, and stepping out of comfort zones

  Salary is competitive ($80K), plus an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package including:
  • Quarterly bonus program (equal to 10% of salary) based on restaurant specific goals
  • 2 Weeks Paid Vacation - Annually (increases to 3 weeks at year 3, 4 weeks at year 7)
