184.108.40.206.1.1. Pediatrician, (BHC Boone) – Services shall be provided Monday through Sunday between 0700 and 1900 for seventy-seven and half (77.5) hours per week or eighty and half (80.5) hours per week if the week includes the following Federal Holidays. The clinic is open on the following Federal Holidays: Martin Luther King Jr's Birthday, President's Day, Columbus Day, and Veteran's Day. 220.127.116.11.1.2. Pediatrician, (BHC Oceana) – Services shall be provided Monday through Friday between the hours of 0700 and 1900 for one hundred five and half (105.5) hours per week. Clinic is closed on Federal Holidays. 18.104.22.168.1.3. Pediatrician, (TPC VA Beach) – Services shall be provided Monday through Sunday between 0700 and 1900 for one hundred forty-six (146) hours per week. The clinic is open from 0900 to 1700 on the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day. The clinic is open from 0700 to 1900 on all other holidays. 22.214.171.124.1.4. Pediatrician, (TPC Chesapeake) – Services shall be provided Monday through Sunday between 0700 and 1900 for two hundred twenty seven (227) hours per week, to include all Federal Holidays. 126.96.36.199.1.5. Kako'o Services, LLCQualifications: 188.8.131.52.2. Possess a minimum of one (1) year full-time experience as a Pediatrician in the last two (2) years. 184.108.40.206.3. Possess board certification in Pediatrics (by the American Board of Pediatrics). 220.127.116.11.4. Possess and maintain Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification as recognized by the American Board of Pediatrics. 18.104.22.168.5. Provide two (2) letters of recommendation written within the last two (2) years attesting to the HCW's clinical skills. A minimum of one (1) of the letters must be from a supervisor. If applying within 12 months of residency completion, the Program Director's Letter will substitute for the letter from a supervisor. The other letter must be from either clinic or hospital administrators, or practicing physicians. Reference letters shall attest to the quality and quantity of experience including, but not limited to, the communication skills between practitioner and patient and among peers, and must include name, title, phone number, date of reference, address and signature of the individual providing reference.
22.214.171.124. GENERAL DUTIES. Contractor personnel shall perform a full range of duties consistent with their labor category, education, training, experience, clinical privileges (as applicable), and assigned position. General duties that apply to all personnel or across certain labor categories are given below. Duties that apply to all contractor personnel are as follows: 126.96.36.199.1. Perform efficiently in emergency patient situations following established protocols, remaining calm, informing appropriate persons, and documenting events. Anticipate potential problems/emergencies and make appropriate interventions. Notify supervisor, director, or other designated person regarding problems that the HCW is unable to manage. 22.214.171.124.6. Apply an awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and strive to manage situations in a reduced risk manner. 126.96.36.199.7. Participate in the implementation of the Family Advocacy Program as directed. Participation shall include, but not be limited to, appropriate medical examination, documentation, and reporting. 188.8.131.52.8. Exercise awareness and sensitivity to patient/significant others' rights, as identified within the MTF. 184.108.40.206.9. Maintain an awareness of responsibility and accountability for own professional practice. 220.127.116.11.10. Participate in continuing education to meet own professional growth. 18.104.22.168.11. Attend and/or comply with all annual training classes required by the Command, to include but not limited to online annual training provided by the MTF: disaster training, infection control, Sexual Harassment, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire and Safety, Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNE), and all other required training. 22.214.171.124.12. Actively participate in the command's Performance Improvement Program. Participate in meetings to review and evaluate the care provided to patients, identify opportunities to improve the care delivered, and recommend corrective action when problems exist. 126.96.36.199.13. Participate in the provision of in-service training to clinic staff members. Provide training and/or direction as applicable to supporting government employees (e.g., hospital corpsmen, students, etc.). 188.8.131.52.14. Attend and participate in various meetings as directed. 184.108.40.206.15. Perform timely, accurate, and concise documentation of patient care. 220.127.116.11.18. Operate and manipulate automated systems such as CHCS, AHLTA, ADS, Essentris, and Clinical Information System (CIS), participate in clinical staff Performance Improvement (PI) and Risk Management (RM) functions, as prescribed by the Commander. Maintain DOD email account as directed. The HCW shall be responsive to all email and voicemail communications. 18.104.22.168.19. Exercise appropriate delegation of tasks and duties in the direction and coordination of health care team members, patient care, and clinic activities. 22.214.171.124.20. Maintain documentation of all treatment provided in accordance with clinic directives, and prepare such records and reports as may be required. All records and reports must be legible.
