LCSW-Social Worker (Graduate Degree) --- The contractor shall provide a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. To maintain continuity of care, the HCW MUST BE a FULL-TIME INDIVIDUAL. The Commanding Officer will not privilege more than one individual for the required positions. --- The Commanding Officer or designated government supervisor will supervise the HCW. --- Services shall normally be provided Monday through Sunday. The SARP Program provides full-time residential treatment services 24 hours a day. Typical shifts are as follows: Day Shift 0700-1500 hours; Evening Shift 1500-2300 hours; and Night Shift 2300-0700 hours. The HCW shall normally provide services for an 8.5 or 9-hour shift to include an uncompensated 30 minute or 1-hour meal break, depending on the length of shift. In no instance will the HCWs exceed 80 hours (on-site service plus approved leave and holidays) per 2-week period. Specific location, hours and days shall be scheduled one (1) month in advance by the workplace supervisor. Any changes in the schedule shall be coordinated between the HCW and the Government. At the mutual agreement of the HCW and the Government, alternative schedules, such as a compressed work schedule, may be implemented. The Government reserves the right to change shift hours with 72-hour notice to accommodate patient care needs and mission requirements. The HCWs may not exceed the hours in the applicable CLIN/SLIN as stated in Section B --- Should services be required at another location, the Government will normally provide at least 1-week advanced notice. If Government notice occurs once the HCW is at their specific work location, the contractor will be compensated at the normal CLIN rate for the HCW's travel time. --- Services may be required on the day of observation of federal holidays. Holiday compensation shall be provided in accordance with Section C of the basic contract. --- Duties. Each HCW shall perform the applicable duties given in Section C of the basic contract and to include the following: --- Provide behavioral health care for all enrollees in SARP using evidenced-based interventions and clinical practice guidelines were appropriate for treating behavioral health problems. --- Perform limited administrative duties that include maintaining statistical records of the HCWs clinical workload, participating in education programs, and participating in clinical staff Performance Improvement Functions and Process Action Teams, as prescribed by the Commander. --- Participate in monthly meetings to review and evaluate the care provided to patients, identify opportunities to improve the care delivered, and recommend corrective action when problems exist. --- Participate in the provision of monthly in-service training to non-healthcare practitioner members of the clinical and administrative staff on subjects germane to social work services. This shall include responsibility for developing and implementing psychoeducational programs, community relations, information, and referral. --- Independently function as the primary mental health therapist, providing assessment and therapeutic interventions in outpatient settings utilizing clinical modalities exercising mature professional judgment and utilizing a wide range of social work skills to include individual, family, couples, and group counseling to assist patients and their families in dealing with acute, routine and chronic mental health conditions. Requirements Qualifications. The healthcare worker shall possess and maintain the applicable qualification requirements: --- must have graduated from an MSW program accredited by the Council of Social Work Education (CSWE) with a clinical focus. The incumbent must be able to be fully credentialed at the Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) in the provision of individual, group, marital, couples, family therapy and crisis intervention utilizing evidenced-based psychotherapy methods as described in 3.2 below. --- must possess a minimum of two (2) years of full-time post-licensure experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker within the preceding four (4) years. The two (2) qualifying years must have consisted of no less than eighty percent (80 %) of the clinicians practice time being spent in the provision of in-depth mental health diagnostic evaluations and evidenced-based psychotherapy (i.e. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure (PE) Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), etc.). --- Provide two (2) letters of recommendation written within the last two (2) years attesting to the HCW's clinical skills. Letters of recommendation must be from practicing physicians, psychiatrist, psychologist or licensed clinical social work (LCSW) supervisors who have personally observed and evaluated the HCW and who can attest to the HCW's clinical and professional knowledge, skills, competencies, patient rapport, training and abilities.
