ESH invites applications for the position of a LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE (LPN). New LPN graduates are welcome to apply. We are currently hiring for 12-hour shifts: Day/Evening 7:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m. or Evening/Night 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m. The LPN provides quality nursing care to psychiatric and geriatric patients based on standards of nursing practice and care within scope of license. Performs skilled patient centered nursing care to individual and groups of patients with complex mental and physical illnesses under the general supervision of a Registered Nurse. Provides a variety of patient care such as administering medication and treatments, maintaining patient records, promoting health and wellness education, and communicating for continuity of patient care. The qualified candidate will have a demonstrated knowledge of nursing standards and fundamentals including medication management and patient assessment and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Multiple positions may be filled from this posting. Minimum Qualifications • Licensed or license eligible in Virginia as a Licensed Practical Nurse; multi-state compact endorsement accepted.
