Interventional Radiology Location: Chesapeake, VA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $2,800 to $3,000 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $70.00 - $75.00/Hourly. Summary: An Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) assists physicians in performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures using advanced radiologic equipment. The IR Tech prepares patients, operates imaging systems, monitors patient safety, and ensures accurate documentation, playing a critical role in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Locals not accepted Responsibilities: Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by explaining the procedure and obtaining necessary information. Operate imaging equipment such as fluoroscopy, angiography, CT, or ultrasound to guide procedures. Assist physicians during procedures by preparing instruments, contrast media, and other supplies. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies. Maintain sterile fields and adhere to aseptic technique during procedures. Perform pre- and post-procedure imaging studies. Requirements Requirements: 3 years of experience required, Epic experience required, BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, ARRT (R) Certification, VA State license required, Locals not accepted.
