Job Description:

Southern Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Nursing Team Manager to lead our nursing staff at one of our cutting-edge correctional facility healthcare units. This role is pivotal in managing our nursing team to ensure efficient health service delivery, adhering to high standards of patient care and compliance with regulatory health requirements. The successful candidate will contribute to our mission of providing innovative and quality healthcare in a cost-effective manner. This role will involve direct supervision, resource management, and strategic planning in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Lead and manage the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence in patient care. Plan and implement nursing schedules ensuring adequate staffing across all shifts. Enforce strict compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards. Conduct regular training and development sessions for nursing staff. Evaluate nursing practices and patient outcomes, and instigate improvements where necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure integrated, comprehensive patient care. Manage the budget for the nursing department, ensuring resources are used effectively to achieve patient care objectives. Handle administrative duties including records maintenance, reporting, and compliance documentation. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities In-depth knowledge of nursing operations and patient care Proficient in healthcare regulations and standards Ability to strategize, implement, and optimize healthcare processes Comprehensive problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Medical Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse (RN) license Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Preferable: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
