the Position Join Our Team as a Locum Physician - OB Hospitalist in
North Chesapeake, VA Are you a dedicated physician seeking to make

We are seeking a highly skilled Locum OB Hospitalist to provide
exceptional obstetric care in the North Chesapeake area. This
pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to

responsible for managing obstetric patients, delivering
comprehensive inpatient care, and collaborating with healthcare
professionals to ensure optimal outcomes. Your expertise will
support the hospital in delivering top-tier maternal health
services and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. Required
Skills: Valid and current medical license to practice in Virginia
Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN or Family Medicine
with obstetric inpatient experience Proven experience in obstetric
inpatient care, labor and delivery management Excellent clinical
judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to adapt
quickly in a fast-paced hospital environment Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems Prior
locum or temporary physician work experience Ability to handle
complex obstetric cases and emergencies confidently Preferred
Education and Experience: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of
Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
Minimum of 2 years of recent inpatient obstetric experience Active
Virginia medical license or eligibility for licensure Other
Requirements: Must hold current ACLS, NRP, and BLS certifications
Ability to work scheduled shifts as required, including weekends
and holidays if necessary Flexibility to travel within Virginia as
needed Vaccination and health clearance requirements in accordance
