working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in
Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320! Job Title: MedSurg Tele Registered
Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MedSurg/Telemetry
Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension Shift: Day Hours per
Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience,
including travel experience License: Compact or state license in
hand, no exceptions Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required via
American Heart Association Must-Have: - Must have worked with
neurology/stroke patients in the past - EPIC proficiency required -
Skills in IV start, telemetry interpretation, and management of
dysrhythmias Description: This position is located in a beautiful
area known for its outdoor activities, including trails for hiking
and waterways to explore. The MedSurg Tele Registered Nurse
position requires working nights, weekdays, and weekends, including
holidays within the contract. Patient ratios will be 1:7;
candidates must be aware of this before submitting. Candidates will
need to demonstrate experience with telemetry patients. Proficient
skills in starting and maintaining IVs, interpreting telemetry, and
managing patients who have experienced strokes or neurological
issues are mandatory. Additional responsibilities include
monitoring patients, administering medications, and collaborating
with interdisciplinary teams. All applicants must not have any
prior license or background issues. There will be no exceptions to
this requirement. Applicants who do not pass the mandatory EKG
testing will not be considered for the position. The facility
cannot accommodate specific fit testing needs, and any history of
fit test issues will eliminate a candidate from consideration. 5
