Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Endoscopy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 06:30 - 15:00 Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: None required Must-Have: - Experience in performing GI procedures, bronchoscopy, and PEG tube placements. - Experience in scope reprocessing. Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Endoscopy unit. The nurse will be involved in various GI procedures, including colonoscopy, EGD, bronchoscopy, and PEG tube placements. The role will include scope room duties as well as the tech role in the room during procedures. The unit operates three procedure rooms, with 1-2 rooms typically utilized each day. Some days will be very busy while others may be more relaxed. The department has a close-knit atmosphere, collaborating closely with CRNAs and physicians. Outpatient and inpatient procedures are performed. Our equipment includes Olympus scopes, Boston Scientific instruments, Steris scope cabinets, and Olympus scope washers. The documentation system used is Meditech Expanse. There is no call requirement, and scheduling is Monday through Friday, with varying start and end times. There is a rare floating policy to assist in the OR with room turnover. The required uniform is ceil blue scrubs, which will be provided after order placement.
