Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Portsmouth, VA Agency: AMN Healthcare Pay: $1,875 to $1,991 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Description & Requirements Registered Nurse – Intensive Care - ICU - Travel - (ICU RN) StartDate: 1/26/2026 Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1875.00 - $1991.00 Position Details: 12 HR PM; every other weekend and holiday Floating: Agency staff are expected to float to like or lower acuity units and between hospitals/facilities when there is a staffing need a minimum of 2 years ICU experience prefer to have previous travel exp no locals accepted (locals are considered to be within 50 miles of the facility) Dysrhythmia required at orientation (study guide available) BLS, ACLS, NIH Will be required to take Dysrhythmia exam at orientation (study guide located in Simplify Library) *manager to review/interview after clinical - this will delay an offer* Unit Details: Bed amount: 17 Drips: Pressors, sedation, paralytics, Lines/Drains/ Specific devices used: CRRT, minimally invasive cardiac output monitoring, chest tubes, JP drains, pericardial drains, Oxygen: Vents, bipap, high flow Patient population: multiple co-morbidity, sepsis, renal failure, COPD/HF Support staff: PCT on some shifts, charge Required Qualifications Registered Nurse, ICU Experience: 2 years Licenses: RN(Compact Accepted)(Copy needed) Certifications: ACLS(Copy Needed); BLS(Copy Needed); CERT-NIH Stroke Scale(Copy Needed) SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history sign right to represent via Docusign willing to float to lower acuity Preferred Qualifications previous travel Facility Location Enjoy this historic shipbuilding town with miles of beautiful waterfront.
