Job Description Job Quick Facts: - Specialty: Anesthesiology - Job Type: Locum Tenens - Facility Location: Suffolk, VA - Service Setting: Inpatient - Reason For Coverage: Supplemental - Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing - Coverage Type: Clinical Only - Shift Schedule: 7a to 330p      - At least 3 weeks/month - Patient Demographics: Adults - Annual Surgical Cases: Approx. 150 - Physicians in Practice: 10 Anesthesiologists - Required Procedures:      - General Surgical Cases: Adult      - Minor Nerve Blocks, IV Regional and Plexus anesthesia.      - Complex Vascular Cases (Except Open Heart)      - Complex Orthopedic Cases, Regional Anesthesia      - Local Infiltration, Spinal Anesthesia      - Ventilation Management      - Insertion of Central Line & Arterial line      - Evaluation & Management of Acute Volume/BP Issues - No. of ORs: 13 - EMR: Epic - Other Info:      - Required to Supervise CRNAs (ratio 1:4)      - Will not have to prepare the anesthesia cart. - Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered Requirements: - Active VA License - BC (ACGME or AOA) - VA DEA - ACLS & PALS - Clean Record - Flu Shot - COVID Vaccination proof (preferred) - At least 3 weeks/month of availability
