Job Highlights include: - Hospitalist with a growing 9-hospital physician led healthcare system - Location is a 114-bed, not-for-profit hospital, located in Ahoskie NC. Ability to live in nearby Greenville, North Carolina or Edenton, NC - Beautiful beaches and waterfront scenery nearby - The 15-bed ER serves approximately 21,000 patients per year from the local community and surrounding towns. - High quality hospitalist team inclusive of 8 physicians - 7on/7off 7am-7pm schedule, no night shifts required - Anticipated inpatient volume per provider is 14-16 patients per day - Coverage includes a 10-bed Intensive Care Unit - Short term vent management will be required - Optional procedures include CVP, intubations, and lumbar punctures - Tele ICU support available - Specialty support includes general surgery, cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, pulmonary and respiratory, radiology, anesthesia, emergency medicine, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics and dermatology - In addition to a competitive compensation and benefits plan, qualified applicants may also be eligible for loan repayment, sign-on bonus, income guarantees, and residency/fellowship paid commitment stipends.
