Nurses Etc. Staffing is looking for a Womens Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our team at Portsmouth Naval Hospital.Nurse Practitioner Position Qualifications/Requirements:Degree: HCW shall have a Masters or Doctoral Level degree in nursing.Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.Certifications in addition to Basic Life Support: Possess certification as an OB/GYN NP or Women's Health Care NP by the National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic, and Neonatal Nursing Specialties (NCC).Licensure/Registration: Shall have and maintain a valid, unrestricted state license in any state in the United States, District of Columbia, or the territory of Puerto Rico to practice medicine, and a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration.
