  Successful Scribe Traits:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    Monday - Friday availability, able to support varying schedules
    
    
  • 
    Reliable transportation

    Typing test score of 60+ WPM
    
    
  • 
    Experience in medical office environment
    
    
  • 
    Must process or be in the process of obtaining a medical focused degree
    
    
  • 
    High proficiency in medical terminology
    
    
  • 
    Strong and professional written and verbal communication skills
    
    
  • 
    Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
    
    
    
    
    
    What You Will Do:
    
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Provide scribing services for multiple providers in various office locations within your region as coverage needs arise.
      
      
    • 
      Scribe in real-time while accompanying physicians during clinic, documenting patient information into the EMR (history, chief complaint, review of systems, physical exam, assessment and plan).
      
      
    • 
      Input orders as directed by the provider including laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.
      
      
    • 
      Handle any and all patient information with the utmost compliance to HIPAA regulations.
      
      
    • 
      Communicate any provider's schedule changes to the client services team.
      
      
      
      
      
      Area of Offices to Support On-site
      
      
      • 
        
      • 
        Richmond, Henrico, Mechanicsville, Colonial Heights, Midlothian, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake, Salem, Blacksburg and Roanoke
        
        
        
        
        
        Compensation:

          Hourly rate of $12-16 per hour based on experience
