Come partner with us!Our benefits/perks can include the following:--- Employee Assistance Program--- Professional Development Assistance--- Vacation/Sick days--- All Federal Holidays--- 401(k)--- Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life--- Referral Bonus--- Retention Bonus--- Attendance AwardRequirements:Includes, but not limited to, Surgical Technician; Surgical Technologist, and Operating Room TechniciansMinimum Qualifications:--- Degree: Certificate.--- Education: Graduate from the Surgical Technology program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau Exhibit of Health Education Schools (ABHES) or completion of a formal training program provided by any branch of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force) for surgical technicians, surgical technologists or operating room technicians.--- Certification: Certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) from The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or certified as a Tech-in-Surgery (TS-C) from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) or possess a Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) certification as a surgical technician and/or operating room technician.--- Experience: One year of experience as a Surgical Technician or Operating Room Technician after graduation. Have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last three (3) years working in a surgical setting of comparable size and complexity.Note: Must be U.S. Citizen.Duties:--- Plan for all aspects of the Operating Room (OR) to include knowing the schedule.--- Ensure that all equipment is ready and available, notifying the surgeon if it is not available.--- Maintain routine supply items in cooperation with the departmental supply officer.--- Maintain functionality of the surgical suite, instruments, and equipment.--- Provide office automation support to their assigned clinical area.--- Make post-operative follow-up calls to patients as necessary.--- Perform the full spectrum of sterile techniques, setting up surgical trays, preparing and draping patients for surgery, and assisting with post-operative dressings.--- Ensure surgical packs are cleaned and packed for sterilization after every procedure, including restocking surgical supplies.--- Maintain a clean, safe environment for the patient either by active participation in the cleaning of clinical spaces, operating rooms, and medical equipment or by guiding other personnel in environmental maintenance.Start date:--- As soon as possible pending Federal Security Clearance process completion (typically 4-6 weeks after initiation)Schedule:--- Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday--- Holidays, Nights (If selected, enter the Night Shift Pay Rate in the Special Notes Section)--- 12 - Hour Shift, 8 - Hour Shift--- 6:30 AM, 6 45 AM, 3 15 PM, 4:00 PMAbility to commute:--- You are required to have reliable and safe transportation and are expected to commute to and from the work site.Provizor Federal, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.%336924% %%medtech%%
