Experience:

--- 12 months of role experience is required.

--- 12 months of Telemetry Unit experience is required.

--- Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

--- Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

--- This role will require floating to multiple units

--- Candidates must live at least 50 miles away from this facility in order to be considered a traveler when applying for this role.

--- COVID vaccination required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

--- COVID booster required for onboarding. Declinations not accepted.

--- Flu vaccination required for onboarding. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Med Surg overflow unit with remote Tele

BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire, must obtain from approved source prior to direct patient care)

Education Bachelor of Science Nursing (preferred)

6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting (preferred)

Critical Care Course (preferred)

Certifications:

--- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

--- BLS (Basic Life Support)

--- PCCN (Progressive Care Nursing (Adult))

--- NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

--- CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse)
