Job Description:

Anesthesiology-Cardiac opening in Portsmouth, Virginia. Cardiac Anesthesiologist Locum Needed in Virginia Southeast VA Coastal Location Greater Chesapeake Area

• Practice Setting: Hospital/ASC
• Documentation System/EMR: EPIC Instance
• CRNA will be supervised by physician - must be willing to supervise
• Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 65+
• Number of Operating Rooms: 12
• Patient Age Demographic: Adults
• Cases: No OB, No Neuro except spine, No Trauma. Mostly cardiac anesthesiology, but will do general when they do not have cardiac cases. Required procedures:
  • Minor Nerve Blocks
  • General Surgical Cases ADULT
  • Plexus anesthesia
  • Regional Anesthesia
  • Local Infiltration
  • Spinal Anesthesia Must have at least 50 encounters in the last 12 months or demonstrated successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accreddited residency or clinical fellowship within the last 12 months SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
    • Board Certified - REQUIRED
    • Completion of accredited residency or clinical fellowship - REQUIRED
    • Active VA License - REQUIRED
    • PALS & ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
    • COVID Vaccinated - Noted at time of name clear
