Harbor Point Behavioral Health Center offers intensive residential
treatment services within a secure setting. Our programs are
designed to meet the needs of youth ages 7- 17 who are experiencing
emotional, psychiatric and educational difficulties. In addition to
our general psychiatric programs, we also offer specialty programs
for youth with more serious challenges. Harbor Point and its
programs are fully accredited by The Joint Commission and the
Virginia Association of Independent Specialized Educational
Facilities. We are licensed by The Virginia Department of
Behavioral Health and Developmental Services and the Virginia
Department of Education. We are a TRICARE-approved and certified

overall responsibility of the Senior Lead Mental Health Technician
is to develop a therapeutic relationship with and provide
appropriate guidance and supervision to children and teenagers
receiving treatment. Shifts Needed:2nd Shift 2:45p - 11:15p3rd
Shift 10:45p - 7:15a Essential Functions:* Implement program to
help residents learn acceptable behaviors.* Supervise residents'
attainment of treatment goals.* Maintain positive normative
culture.* Utilize established mechanisms to enhance communication.*
Assist in staffing needs of the facility.* Adhere to all
supervision responsibilities related to monitoring.* Assist with
the supervision and accountability of unit staff.* Ensure the
coordination and completion of all documentation related to

Qualifications
Qualifications:* Must be at least 21 years old.* Minimum high
school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in Psychology or
related field with coursework in Psychology and Child and
Adolescent Development preferred.* Experience working with children
and adolescents preferred.* Previous experience working in a
residential or psychiatric setting with children and adolescents
preferred.* Requires ability to work in a fast-paced environment.*
