Locums Cardiothoracic Surgery Position:
This is a locum tenes full time, long term Cardiothoracic Surgery
position in Southeastern Virginia with a combined clinical
workload. The position is set to start as soon as possible. It is
an ongoing position for atleast 6 months with a flexible
schedule.
Job Summary:
Starting: Now and ongoing
Facility: Non for Profit, Faith Based 352 Bed Facility
5 Bed CVT ICU
15 Bed CVT Stepdown Unit
Scope: 70% Inpatient
30% Outpatient (Typically 1-5 Patients per day)
50% Adult 50% Geriatric
Both Night and Weekend Call Required (Every Night, Every
Weekend)
Rounding weekdays and weekends
EPIC EMR
Requirements: Virginia Medical License (Active)
Board Certification in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
Travel Paid, Housing Paid, and Accommodations Paid (For Locums
Opportunities)
Credentialing will typically take between 20-30 days, expedited
credentialing if required.
