for a qualified Pediatrician Physician (MD/DO) to join our team of
talented professionals who provide health care services to our
veterans and their families at Naval Medical Center, Portsmouth
VA.Working inside the gates of a military installation is an

Schedule: Monday through Friday between the hours 6:00 AM-6:00
PMThe Pediatrician Physician (MD/DO) must have the following
qualifications:Possess a minimum of one (1) year full-time
experience as a Pediatrician in the lasttwo (2) years OR be a
recent residency graduate within the last twelve (12) months.
Possess board certification in Pediatrics (by the American Board of
Pediatrics) OR be arecent residency graduate. If you are a
residency graduate (within 12 months), you must bescheduled for the
board exam or waiting board results. All board exams results must
be providedto NMCP within one week of receipt. Failure to pass the
boards would result in ineligibility toprovide services under this
task order. Possess and maintain a Neonatal Resuscitation
Certification (NRP) certification asrecognized by the American
Board of Pediatrics. Possess and maintain a Pediatric Advanced Life
Support (PALS) certification by theAmerican Board of Pediatrics.Due
to contractual obligations with the DoD, Health Care Workers
performing under this contract must either be a U.S. citizen, or as
defined by the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship
and Immigration Services, either a noncitizen national of the
United States, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or
alien authorized to work in the United States.You will love being
