Learn more about this agency Responsibilities - You will produce the nuclear portion of the Baseline Availability Work Packages in accordance with local process instructions. - You will establish advance planning milestones for the aircraft carrier Baseline Availability Work Packages. - You will process current Ship's Maintenance Project data to support advance planning. - You will participate in life cycle maintenance analyses with other Carrier Planning Activities in an effort to promote continuous improvement of the Class Maintenance Plan. - You will represent Carrier Planning Activities in discussions or conferences and liaison with other activities, both private and government. - You will prepare official formal and informal correspondence (e.g. naval messages, letters, point papers, statement of work, etc.). You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Planning, developing, or implementing a life cycle program to support the modernization of a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.
