Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking a full-time Cybersecurity Manager who will lead a customer matrixed technical team of procurement analysts and specialists, acquisition analysts, budget formulation and execution analysts, providing functional support to the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Cyber Security Division (CSD), Budget & Contracting Branch. The Cybersecurity Manager directly supervises staff located in Portsmouth, VA and Arlington, VA and is fully accountable for the performance of the work. Cybersecurity Manager responsibilities:--- Manage employees and their performance.--- Maintain a stable workforce. Ensure no more than 5 positions are vacant at any given time nor any one position is vacant for greater than 30 consecutive days.--- Assist government in performance/task monitoring.--- Develop and maintain a customer-focused culture that delivers high quality performance.--- Ensure all personnel meet or exceed PWS qualification requirements.--- Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly customer meetings.--- Support customer quarterly progress reviews.--- Respond to Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative inquiries in a timely manner.--- Perform timely corrective action for identified contract discrepancies.--- Ensure the monthly delivery of high-quality and timely deliverable submissions to the customer.--- Manage personnel staffing surge requirements.--- Perform other duties as needed or assigned Cybersecurity Manager Required Qualifications:--- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related area--- 10 years of managerial experience - managing teams in process improvement or process execution--- 8 - 10 years of experience supporting DHS (legacy NPPD, CISA customers)--- 8 - 10 years of experience managing a team of 40+ technical personnel--- Experience supporting Federal Cyber centers--- Active DoD Secret Clearance, or higher. Desired Qualifications:--- Master of Business Administration (MBA)--- PMP or equivalent certification
