Job Description:
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to assemble,
install, and repair piping systems in accordance with blueprints,
drawings, and specifications. The ideal candidate has strong
mechanical aptitude, experience with industrial piping systems, and
a commitment to maintaining high-quality and safety standards. Key
Responsibilities Assemble, install, and maintain piping systems
including water, steam, gas, air, and other industrial process
systems Interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and technical
specifications accurately Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipe to
required angles using hand and power tools Install valves, hangers,
supports, and other piping components Perform hydrostatic and
pressure testing of piping systems Weld, braze, or solder pipe
systems as required Inspect piping systems and components to ensure
compliance with specifications and safety standards Troubleshoot
and repair piping systems and related equipment Maintain a safe and
organized work environment Qualifications Proven 5 years experience
as a Pipe Fitter in the shipyard Ability to read and interpret
blueprints and piping drawings Experience with pipe threading,
cutting, fitting, and installation Knowledge of welding and joining
techniques Strong measuring and layout skills Ability to lift heavy
materials and work in physically demanding conditions High school
diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Must be a US
Citizen Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 Per hour $120 Perdiem NON
