Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Description: Job Duties and
Responsibilities Inspect, perform diagnostic tests, troubleshoot,
and repair forklifts, aerial lifts, and other various construction
equipment. Assess parts needed for repairs, communicate this to the
parts department, and be able to move to other projects as
necessary. Spearhead complex repair projects where more than one
technician is needed. Prepare parts lists and estimate labor time
needed to repair customer-owned equipment. Document and report the
status of repairs and maintenance. Maintain a clean and organized
work environment, adhering to safety regulations and protocols.
Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and improve
overall service efficiency. Stay updated with the latest industry
trends, tools, and technologies related to heavy equipment repair.
Requirements: Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements 5 years of
experience with heavy or construction related equipment required.
Knowledge of tier 4 engines and high-pressure common rail systems.
Must be able to repair multiple machines at one time; in some
cases, a technician will be assigned two or more machines to
repair. Ability to diagnose electrical and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
Ability to read and interpret specifications and manuals.
Understand and efficiently complete service-related paperwork.
Excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills. Atlantic
Lift Systems provides specialty tools specific to the brands we
carry. Technicians are required to provide all other tools.
Required schedule: 7:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday (no
weekends). Daily 30 minutes unpaid for lunch and two 15-minute paid
breaks. All hours over 40 in the work-week will be overtime pay
