Description We are seeking an efficient and detail-oriented
Assembler to join our team. This role will be responsible for
assembling various components into finished products according to
specifications, blueprints, or work orders. This role requires
accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively
in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Follow safety
protocols and procedures of the company, including wearing safety
shoes, glasses, and ear protection. Use all tools in a safe manner
and maintain a clean and tidy work area. Read diagrams and
schematics of the product to ensure accurate assembly. Ensure the
quality of the structure by checking that the product is level and
square. Pay attention to detail, specifically when inspecting
components used on structure builds like corner posts, roofs, and
covers for damages such as dents and scratches. Use torque wrenches
to torque bolts to the required specification. Communicate
effectively and work collaboratively with a team. Understand
manufacturing information such as front views, bill of materials,
drawings, blueprints, and order entry systems. Problem-solve using
oral or written instructions to assemble switchboards and
panelboards, and proactively identify missing components. Utilize
various hand tools to accurately install material by closely
following established procedures. Communicate progress of jobs and
identify problem areas or part shortages. Proactively identify
opportunities for process improvement and conduct root cause
analysis in response to quality or production issues. Be
responsible for quality, including visual inspections of material
before and after assembly, identifying nonconforming parts, and
troubleshooting errors. Assemble copper bussing according to design
and check for correct spacing from phase to phase and ground. Other
duties as assigned. Essential Skills Ability to work with
concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail. Ability to work
independently and cooperatively with others. Excellent
communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability
to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to multi-task, establish work
priorities, and efficiently manage time. Proficiency with using a
computer and CAD software to open and follow design structures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or
equivalent. Previous experience working as an Assembler in a
manufacturing environment. Familiarity with assembly tools and

Work Environment We have moved into a brand-new facility with
approximately 200-250 people on-site once full headcount is
reached. The work environment includes a manufacturing floor with
exposure to noise, machinery, and varying temperatures. Employees
are required to wear steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and
appropriate attire, such as long pants and long sleeves or
cut-resistant sleeves. The position requires the ability to stand
or walk for long periods and occasionally lift up to 25-50 lbs. A
rotating 2-2-3 shift is required, running from 6 am to 6 pm. During
the first week, candidates will undergo comprehensive training
before being assigned to their team. Job Type & Location This is a
Contract to Hire position based out of Hanover, MD. Pay and
Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
