Department of Mathematics at Norfolk State University seeks
applications for adjunct instructors beginning August 2023. The
Department of Mathematics assists students of all majors in
mastering the quantitative skills necessary for success in their
various disciplines. The department also prepares students majoring
in mathematics for careers in the mathematical sciences from both a
theoretical and applied perspective, providing simultaneous
preparation for those who wish to pursue graduate study. Minimum
Qualifications Teach 100 level mathematics courses Hold office
hours Attend departmental meetings Complete reports assigned by the
Department Chair Additional Considerations Masters in one of the
following areas: Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or
Mathematical Education. Minimum 18 hours of graduate level
