(Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1 years Audiologist
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Audiologist
opportunity is available within a K-12 public school district in
the Virginia Beach area. This contract position runs from ASAP
through June 16, 2026. The role involves providing audiology
services across multiple schools within the district, with specific
caseloads to be determined. The successful candidate will play a
key role in developing and expanding the districts audiology
program. This service was previously managed by a local clinic but
is now transitioning to be provided in-house. The position is
itinerant, requiring travel to schools to conduct hearing exams and
support student needs throughout the school year. Qualifications
and experience required: - PhD in Audiology - Active Audiologist
licensure in Virginia - Experience working in K-12 educational
settings preferred - Ability to travel between schools in the
district as needed - Proven skills in conducting hearing
assessments and developing audiology programs Primary
responsibilities: - Administer hearing screenings and evaluations
for students - Develop and implement audiology services tailored to
student needs - Collaborate with educational staff and families to
support hearing-related interventions - Maintain accurate records
and documentation according to school policies and regulations This
contract demands a professional committed to program development
and student-focused audiology care within a busy school district
