Typical duties include:
              • Performing a full range of procedural office work includingserving as first point of contact for visitors and telephonecallers.
              • Making travel arrangements, prepares various travel orders andadministers travel claims process for staff.
              • Serving as the fifth Coast Guard District WebTA Timekeeper,responsible for time keeping duties in automated system for the5-(th) Districts civilian workforce to include validating timeand attendance timecards.
              • Providing assistance for expediting work within the divisionsand subordinate branch offices, recommending shifts in clericalhelp to adjust fluctuating workload, explaining reportrequirements, arranging for the collection of information and/ordata, providing direct assistance for implementing instructionsand new procedures, and accomplishing similar actions.
              • Reviewing outgoing correspondence to ensure compliance withprocedures and regulations.
              • Serving on the administrative team during contingencyoperations, processing orders, alert warnings, and performingpersonnel accountability.
