(Au.D.), active Audiolist license and 1 years Audiologist

qualifications will not be considered. A full-time, contracted
audiologist position is available within a school district in
Newport News, VA, offering a unique opportunity to establish and
develop the districts audiology services program. This role fills a
critical gap left by the previous local clinic that no longer
serves the district. Responsibilities: Conduct hearing exams and
assess students at various school locations as part of an itinerant
schedule. Develop, implement, and manage audiology services
tailored to the needs of the school district. Coordinate with
educators and staff to support students hearing and communication
needs. Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and
licensing requirements. Qualifications: PhD in Audiology required.
Virginia Audiologist Licensure mandatory. Certified and licensed to
provide audiology services. Experience working 1:1 with students
preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills to
support program development and collaboration. This position
requires approximately 37.5 hours per week with travel between
schools to provide on-site hearing assessments and support. It is
an ideal role for an audiologist passionate about creating a
comprehensive program from the ground up in an educational setting.
Compensation is competitive, with rates ranging from $79 to $91 per
hour depending on experience. Interested candidates who meet the
